Comment 2 Micah Abbott 2021-06-28 14:57:09 UTC
The cloned BZ#1966259 doesn't have a Target Release, so it is impossible for this to be included as part of OCP 4.8 GA.

We'll need to target this for 4.9, then create a cloned BZ to track inclusion of the fixed kernel as part of OCP 4.8.z

Comment 3 Martin Sivák 2021-06-30 12:39:21 UTC
Micah, this is not a kernel bug. We can possibly backport the fix into NTO's copy of stalld.

Copy/paste error :)

RHCOS does include `stalld` on host, so this can still be used to track the inclusion of the fixed RPM in an RHCOS build.
