Description Kyle Knoepfel 2021-07-06 18:03:59 UTC
Description of problem:

Hello,

I'd like to offer to maintain the Fedora EPEL7 Branch of nlohmann_json.

In a previous bug report (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1975498)
you'd indicated an interest in having an EPEL7 maintainer and letting
that person decide on an update to the package.

My Fedora Account name is : knoepfel

I'd like to maintain the EPEL7 branch and sync it up with the current
EPEL8 branch. Please let me know what the next steps are.

Great. Please read this:

As an aside, I'm planning to help Kyle with the non-C++ parts of the maintenance locally.

I've completed the sponsorship stuff for Kyle so he should be able to be added to things now.

Done.

Please read this before doing official builds:

 - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL_incompatible_upgrades_policy

Also you will need to announce ABI change in epel-devel mailing list and rebuild all dependent packages.
