 - Bump to 0.0.12
 - Ask upstream to provide a license and readme files

 - License ok
 - Builds in mock
 - No rpmlint errors
 - Conforms to Packaging Guidelines

Package approved.

The repository link in the Cargo.toml is wrong, please poke upstream to fix it.

> - Ask upstream to provide a license and readme files

Yes, but also temporarily include upstream's LICENSE file for the MIT license as a second source file, until they include it in published crates.
The MIT source text is required to be included in redistributed sources.

> # Generated by rust2rpm 17

Please also regenerate with rust2rpm 20 before building this crate for fedora.

Thanks! Put up https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/pull/3130 to fix the repo URL and https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/pull/3131 to add the missing license files.
