Description david08741 2021-07-12 08:41:33 UTC
Description of problem:
sudo dnf install charliecloud only installes charliecloud-common.

Similarly, updating only installs charliecloud-common, not the -runtime subpackage.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
charliecloud-0.24-1.fc34

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo dnf update charliecloud
2. sudo dnf install charliecloud

Actual results:
-common is installed

Expected results:
-runtime is installed

Additional info:
It might be useful to obsolete from the runtime package, rather the common one.

On rawhide, where there is no old charlecloud package, it works.

Comment 1 Dave Love 2021-07-13 09:01:29 UTC
Apologies, I'll look at it and supply a change. I'd forgotten since I did it that the -runtime change needed discussion, but the -common one is wrong.

Comment 2 Dave Love 2021-07-13 20:31:19 UTC
I've provided a change, but I'm not able to unpush the current updates to stop them going through on time.

I have unpushed current update. I will review and merge Dave's fixes soon. I plan to push updates by the end of the week. Thank you for reporting!
