Description of problem: When connecting to a network with 802.11r enabled, the client-side support for it should be optional. wpa_supplicant still tries to connect as if the card supports 802.11r however, this results in a connection failure Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): wpa_supplicant-2.9-12.fc35 How reproducible: Connect a card which does not support 802.11r to a network which does support 802.11r. Steps to Reproduce: 1. setup network with 802.11r enabled 2. connect to network with a client with hardware which does not support 802.11r Actual results: connection failre Expected results: Established connection Additional info: Upstream have fixed this, but not had a release since. I have a pull-request open to include the patch which fixes this behavior in the package: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/wpa_supplicant/pull-request/10
