Steps
1. set custom template, searchIndex, dynSearchIndex, searchType parameters on /etc/ovirt-engine-metrics/config.yml.d/config.yml
2. run metrics and check for generated rsyslog file:
# cat /etc/rsyslog.d/31-output-elasticsearch-elasticsearch_metrics_output.conf
...
            template="es_cusom_template"
            searchIndex="custom_index_template"
            dynSearchIndex="on"
            searchType="custom_events"
...

Results:
Custom paramenters persisted as expected after metrics installation
