Description Ken Holden 2021-07-28 14:30:17 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Deploy OCP Virt operator vs 4.8.0 on OCP 4.8.2. OCP Virtualization works but the OCP UI reports under Overview -> Status that Virtualization Status as "Not Available with a question mark icon. Also under Overview -> Cluster Inventory, Virtual Machine lists "Not available". If you click on Virtual Machine or if you browse to Workloads -> Virtualization, OCPv works as expected and I can create and manage virtual workloads. Just seems to be a UI issue.

How reproducible:
Deploy OCP 4.8.2 and deploy OpenShift Virtualization Operator vs 4.8.0 and view OpenShift UI's Overview pane.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:
UI Reports Virtualization status as Green and "Virtual Machine" under Cluster Inventory reports number of virtual machines running.
