Doc Type: Enhancement
Doc Text:
.The new default `osd_client_message_cap` value is `256` Previously, the `osd_client_message_cap` had a default value of `0`. The default value of `0` disables the flow control feature for the Ceph OSD and does not prevent Ceph OSDs from flapping during periods of heavy client traffic. With this release, the default value of `256` for `osd_client_message_cap` provides better flow control by limiting the maximum number of inflight client requests.
