Description of problem: The VM snapshot controller may now attempt to freeze guest filesystems before taking VolumeSnapshots. However, there is currently no deadline or timeout for VM snapshot operations. So if there is a persistent error creating VolumeSnapshots for example, then the guest will never be unfrozen Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create running VM with guest agent and snapshot-able storage 2. Create dummy webhook to block VolumeSnapshot creation 3. Snapshot VM in step 1 4. Observe VMI status stays frozen Actual results: Host will be frozen until dummy webhook is removed Expected results: The snapshot operation will time out after user configured timeout (with sensible default if omitted) and the guest will be unfrozen Additional info:
