Description of problem:

VM Snapshots are missing in Engine when they are created after a Engine Backup and the Engine is restored from such a Backup.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

4.4.7.7-1.el8 


How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Backup Engine with engine-backup
2. Take a Snapshot of a VM
3. Restore Engine engine-backup engine-backup --mode=restore

Actual results:

Snapshot of the VM is missing in the UI, but is still present on Storage Domain 


Expected results:

Snapshot is present in the UI

Additional info:


There should be a possibility to sync the Storage Domian with the Engine or the Snapshot Information should be saved on Stoage instead of Engine DB.

I do not think this is a bug - seems like everything is working as designed.

Moving to Eyal for consideration as a storage RFE.

The documentation text flag should only be set after 'doc text' field is provided. Please provide the documentation text and set the flag to '?' again.

As Didi said, this is the system behaviour by design and we do not have any plans to change it in the future.
This case should be solved manually.
