Comment 1 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2021-08-15 06:45:11 UTC
Proposed as a Blocker for 35-final by Fedora user chrismurphy using the blocker tracking app because:

 https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_35_Final_Release_Criteria#Default_application_functionality
All applications that can be launched using the standard graphical mechanism after a default installation of Fedora Workstation on the x86_64 architecture must start successfully and withstand a basic functionality test.

Comment 2 Chris Murphy 2021-08-15 22:08:06 UTC
Doing this solves the problem:
systemctl --user enable pipewire-media-session
systemctl --user start pipewire-media-session

Found in bug 1983861 which is already a proposed beta blocker.
