Description Jack Neely 2006-07-19 13:36:37 UTC
Description of problem:

On RHEL WS4 Update 3:

rpm -qf /etc/profile.d/krb5.csh
krb5-devel-1.3.4-27
krb5-workstation-1.3.4-27

On FC5:

rpm -qf /etc/profile.d/krb5.csh
krb5-devel-1.4.3-4.1
krb5-workstation-1.4.3-4.1

The krb5-devel package shouldn't own anything in /etc

Comment 1 Nalin Dahyabhai 2006-07-19 13:53:00 UTC
So long as the files don't conflict (and they're built from the same source
package, so they'd better not), this shouldn't cause problems. The -devel
package needs the file to be there so that krb5-config can be found in $PATH
even when -workstation isn't installed, so unless this is causing problems, I'm
inclined to close this as not-a-bug.

Comment 2 Jack Neely 2006-07-19 14:49:31 UTC
No, its not causing problems its just strange. Perhaps it belongs in krb5-libs?

Thanks, Nalin.

Comment 3 Nalin Dahyabhai 2010-02-12 17:59:29 UTC
Should be fixed in releases with 1.5-10 and later.
