The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Silly question, but how will API users know that the API is available? I guess we'll have to patch each piece of software to require 2.68.3 for this feature instead of 2.69.X
(gnome-software, evolution-data-server and xdg-desktop-portal are existing consumers)

Exactly, everything that wants to use it is going to need to be patched to expect it in 2.68, at least for now. I did include GLIB_AVAILABLE_IN_2_70, though.
