Description Chris Yeo 1999-04-05 06:33:54 UTC
I am using Sendmail 8.9.3-6 with 'smrsh' enabled instead of
/bin/sh (as per default). The problem is that smrsh is
looking in the wrong path for the 'authorized' programs.
This is showing the the following excerpt of an strace:

personality(PER_LINUX)                  = 0
getpid()                                = 1212
access("/usr/adm/sm.bin/list", X_OK)    = -1 ENOENT (No
such file or directory)
write(2, "smrsh: list not available for se"..., 48smrsh:
list not available for
sendmail programs

According the the sendmail-doc package, it should be check
this in /etc/smrsh not /usr/adm/sm.bin

Thanks
