Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Sayan Das 2021-08-30 12:52:50 UTC
Description of problem:

When I am trying to see the available repos based on a product by using the "Filter By Product" dropdown , for some products, I see a completely blank page.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Satellite 6.10 [ snap 13 ]

How reproducible:

Always [ both in firefox and Mozilla ]

Steps to Reproduce:

1. log in to Satellite 6.10 UI and go to Content --> RedHat Repositories page

2. Use the "Filter By Product" dropdown to select and unselect following products.

   Red Hat Ansible Engine
   Red Hat Directory Server
Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86_64
Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86_64 - Extended Update Support
   Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server

Actual results:

Only for "Red Hat Ansible Engine" I can see the selection happened but for rest of the products mentioned, I can see a blank UI with only the menu\option bar of satellite present.

See attached screenshot for more clarification.

Expected results:

Selection of all products should happen properly.

Comment 2 Brad Buckingham 2021-08-30 13:07:19 UTC
Is this a regression from Satellite 6.9?

Comment 3 Sayan Das 2021-08-30 16:49:00 UTC
I cannot reproduce the same issue on Satellite 6.9.3.

I upgraded my Satellite 6.10 instance from snap 13 to snap 15 and the issue persists.

NOTE: Browsers are the same in both tests.

Comment 8 Justin Sherrill 2021-09-22 21:20:11 UTC
Created redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/33544 from this bug

Comment 9 Brad Buckingham 2021-09-28 13:52:02 UTC
Moving to POST as upstream PR is merged.

Comment 12 sganar 2021-10-08 13:44:45 UTC

I believe this is needed too: https://github.com/theforeman/foreman-packaging/pull/7124

Comment 14 Patrick Creech 2021-10-13 01:26:09 UTC
Looks like we'll need to update bootstrap-select as well
