Description of problem: The package opendyslexic-fonts doesn't include the monospace variant OpenDyslexicMono-Regular. It however exists in upstream (e.g. https://github.com/OpenDyslexic/opendyslexic-chrome/blob/11.0.0/app/fonts/opendyslexic/OpenDyslexicMono-Regular.otf) and Debian. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.600 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. sudo dnf install opendyslexic-fonts 2. sudo updatedb 3. locate opendyslexic|grep Mono Actual results: The file OpenDyslexicMono-Regular.otf isn't found or visible in any font selector. Expected results: /usr/share/fonts/opentype/opendyslexic/OpenDyslexicMono-Regular.otf on Debian and I think it should appear in font lists (my Debian is headless though). Additional info:
I happned to notice that the GitHub organisation doesn't contain the font itself and the actual repository has an open issue about missing Mono and Alta variants, so this may have an upstream issue at * https://github.com/antijingoist/opendyslexic/issues/54
It does seem like the opendyslexic font space is a bit confused. Best I can tell is that the upstream stopped developing their Bitstream + CC-BY font and moved to a SIL OFL codebase (not a fork). The "Mono" variant file in the chrome extension is licensed with the Bitstream + CC-BY terms, but I'm not sure which tree it belongs to. I have no idea what the "Alta" variant is. Given that Fedora has never shipped the Mono variant, and there is no clear source available for it, I'm reluctant to add it. I will update the font to the SIL OFL version in rawhide though.
