Description of problem: While I executed State operation, it Last state shows Stage succeeded Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): MTC 1.6.0 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: when I trigger a State operation on UI, its "Last state" shows "Stage succeeded". this can be confusing Actual results: State operation always shows Stage message. Expected results: I expected it shows State instead of Stage. Additional info: Ian Bolton 1 day ago @xjiang This is because the state migration is using the stage itinerary. I checked with @pgaikwad and he mentioned this was acceptable. We may want to circle back around on this to see if improvements can be made @vconzola :thx: 1 Vince Conzola:speech_balloon: 1 day ago @xjiang I agree this can be confusing. @ibolton can the ui display a different message if we know a State migration was run? i realize State uses the Stage itinerary so we’d need to add some logic in the ui. :+1: 1 Ian Bolton 1 day ago I think there is some info we can key off of in the UI to show that it was a state migration. Although there are several messages we are simply printing from the backend that also use the stage text so this could get confusing.
I think this is an important change to make prior to 1.6.0 release.
