Description Leo Sakaguchi 2000-10-30 07:40:47 UTC
There's no kinput2 component, so I selected imlib.

Japanese IM window does not come up after installation. It seems that
kinput2 is not in /usr/X11R6/bin. Do the following to reproduce the
problem:

Install RH7.0J in custom mode and select all packages.
Run X11, and launch GNOME terminal.
Enter [Shift] + {Space] to launch Japanese input method (IM).

It seems that if you select some packages (not all) and do installation
without the CD-ROM 2, the Japanese IM window come up.

I've once asked RedHat support (Red Hat Service Request #160852), but the
engineer asked to ask Bugzilla.
