Description

6 minutes from the moment we hit enter to boot the coreOS and until reached target "switch root". another 10 minutes until the boot is finished and we have the login prompt. Just tried to reboot the same image on the same machine. 3 times in a row the issue reproduced and the 4th time the boot went fine and the network came up as well. Reproduces in 4.9 Observing the same behavior with 4.9. @sasha * Do you have the manifests / configs used for this scenario? * Are you able to replicate this issue? * Were you using nmstate configs? * Did you see something that suggests this is specific to HP hardware? I have been successfully booting images on HP machines for a different effort. Talked to Alexander and this issue, while important, is not urgent anymore. He's got some other hardware to keep moving forward so I will change the severity now. OpenShift has moved to Jira for its defect tracking! This bug can now be found in the OCPBUGS project in Jira. https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OCPBUGS-8972 |
