According to upstream, the stb_perlin library (stb_perlin-devel subpackage in stb) may be encumbered by patents (https://github.com/nothings/stb/commit/59e7dec3e8bb0a8d4050d03c2dc32cf71ffa87c6). Accordingly: • The stb package will be updated to an upstream version without stb_perlin.h; the affected code will be absent from the source tarball. • The stb_perlin-devel subpackage, which has no known dependent packages, will be removed and Obsoleted using the stb-devel metapackage. • A compatible (except for the missing stb_perlin-devel) update will be prepared for all Fedora releases plus EPEL8 and EPEL7. I plan to complete this change in the next day or two.
