Description of problem: because of BZ#1976048, "oc log" command with "--selector" does not print all the specified logs. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): MTC 1.6.0 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: It shows view logs command with "--selector" in the View Logs page. In fact, "oc log" command with "--selector" does not print all the specified logs. It shouldn't use "--selector" to specify pod. Actual results: It cannot print all logs Expected results: It should print out all logs, command such like $ oc logs migration-log-reader-b5dcb7974-rq94j --namespace openshift-migration -c color Additional info:
@xinJiang It has occurred to me that we will need some UX modifications to allow the user to copy commands with the log reader pod name since we can offer the host/target/source pod name.
@vconzola Will need to get with you to decide how to offer the correct "view all logs command" based on the pod names available across the different cluster resources. Maybe a dropdown to select host/target/source before copying to clipboard?
Per the discussion on Slack, add a dropdown for cluster selection. Label should be, “Select cluster to view logs” and the dropdown options will be the names of the source, target and host/controller (if applicable) clusters associated with the plan.
