Your package (rust-diesel_derives) Fails To Install in Fedora 35: can't install rust-diesel_derives+nightly-devel: - nothing provides (crate(proc-macro2/nightly) >= 1.0.0 with crate(proc-macro2/nightly) < 2.0.0~) needed by rust-diesel_derives+nightly-devel-1.4.1-5.fc35.noarch If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. Hello, This is the first reminder (step 3 from https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/#_package_removal_for_long_standing_ftbfs_and_fti_bugs). If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. Should be fixed by this update: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-d1d44a4e5f
This update will also be needed: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-9d6d0dc273
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 35-final by Fedora user decathorpe using the blocker tracking app because: It would be great to have the GA "fedora" repository contain the version of these packages *without* the broken dependencies, otherwise the subpackages with FTI issues will stay around for the lifetime of the F35 release (and show up as a problem on the packager dashboard, for example). The updates contain only a minor bug-fix update and the fix for the broken dependency issues, and they have already been pushed to Rawhide and Fedora 34 stable repositories (and it was confirmed that the issues are now gone there by the automatic FTI checking scripts).
+3 in https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/blocker-review/issue/536 , marking accepted.
