Description of problem: The xmlrpc-c-config that is packaged in Fedora and RHEL appears to have been patched during packaging. The patched version cannot find the cflags for the c++ component. Because this tool is invoked in FindXMLRPC.cmake, even downstream CMake builds fail to find the component. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.51.0-11.fc33 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Invoke: xmlrpc-c-config c++ --cflags Actual results: Package xmlrpc_cpp was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xmlrpc_cpp.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'xmlrpc_cpp', required by 'virtual:world', not found Expected results: -I/usr/include Additional info: This bug is affecting RHEL 8 as well. Should I file a separate bug to fix the problem there too?
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle. Changing version to 36.
