This looks like a purely kernel issue as RHCOS is using the same kernel as RHEL 8.4

I've cloned this BZ to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2009786 in the RHEL8/kernel component.

This bug can be used as a tracker for when RHCOS consumes any fixes in the RHEL 8.4 kernel.
