Doc Text:
This update fixes a bug that caused unintended results when converting Dell EMC PERC H755 RAID controller physical disks to non-RAID mode. + The conversion erroneously created RAID-0 virtual disks and moved them to the `Online` state, consuming a physical disk. + The RAID-0 virtual disks are no longer created during the conversions.

Description monica_pardhi 2021-10-04 10:17:52 UTC
Description of problem:

When converting Dell EMC PERC H755 RAID controller physical
disks to non-RAID mode, RAID-0 virtual disks get created
for each physical disk and disks moved to 'Online' state.
This is different from other controllers supporting non-RAID
conversion and takes up physical disks that cannot be
later used for user intended RAID configuration

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In iDRAC GUI, when physical disks are in ready state select "Convert To Non-RAID"

Actual results:
RAID-0 virtual disks get created for the selected physical disk.

Expected results:
Should create the user intended RAID configuration for available physical disks

Additional info:
This has been observed in Xena version.
