Description Christian Stadelmann 2021-10-10 10:03:12 UTC
Description of problem:
Every time I start gnome-extensions-app, it behaves like this:
1. It takes very long to start
2. It takes much longer (sometimes >10s) to display proper window decoration buttons (e.g. to close the window)
3. It freezes my GNOME shell / wayland desktop for a few seconds
4. It feels very very buggy
5. After a few very basic interactions with the application, it crashes

Comment 8 Christian Stadelmann 2021-10-10 13:04:14 UTC
It seems like this bug is caused by something in the i915 driver, gtk4 or somewhere in between like mesa.

I've reported related GPU hangs to mesa: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/5475
