This is not specific for CNV. Windows admin would like to have it also if they run their VM on RHV, RHEL or OSP. Moving to RHEL after discussion with Amnon.

Martin, I'm not aware of the release of non-linux components or where they are placed.

That said, our best bet is to open a ticket for the EXD team to gather their input: https://docs.engineering.redhat.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=126317087
Since this is a RHEL component, would make sense to open an RHEL WORKFLOW or maybe RHEL DISTRIBUTION ticket.

https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHELDST-8515 already exists but not assigned yet.

Comment 18 Fabian Deutsch 2021-12-15 17:36:32 UTC
RHELDST-8515 has been addressed and the driver is now released on
https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/479/ver=/rhel---8/8.4/x86_64/product-software

if there are no further concerns, then I'd propose to close this bug.

Comment 19 Fabian Deutsch 2021-12-16 10:27:08 UTC
COrrection - Let's not close it, we want to wait for automation.

Comment 20 Qianqian Zhu 2021-12-21 06:42:56 UTC
Mark qa_ack+ for process purpose, and qe_test_coverage- since there is no action item from QE.
