Nvidia 495 require this patch to enable gbm along with a new Mesa.
There is https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/766 upstream already. But this will not be sufficient, NVIDIA driver series 495 requires a rebase of Mesa as you noted, but also egl-wayland 1.1.9 which requires libglvnd 1.3.4. For GBM with NVIDIA driver series 495 to work with GNOME Shell, it will also require All that to say that's a lot of changes for Fedora 34, so even if Xwayland is actually a simple change, it would be enough, far from it, so Fedora 35 would be a better target for this.
> For GBM with NVIDIA driver series 495 to work with GNOME Shell, it will also require Sorry, I posted the comment but I didn't finish that sentence, it will also require https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/2052
I have upgrade to Fedora 35.
And compiled required packages with the patches for Xwayland and Mutter.
