The PR got merged and should be automatically available in the next CRI-O package version (rev e80c8db4581013ad44c9202b3cf8356987264f34)

Hey Peggy, as Michael already mentioned the fix is in 4.7.37. We do not have added a dedicated bug fix message for it to the changelogs.
