Matrix Synapse developers are going to bump required minimal version of canonicaljson Python package to 1.5. As matrix-synapse is the only package that uses python3-canonicaljson (directly and indirectly through python3-signedjson), there should be no unexpected consequences for other packages from updating this package to the newest version. Please update this package.
