Description of problem: After resuming from suspend, a message is printed to syslog about IRQ 9 being disabled. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.17-1.2505.fc6 #1 SMP Tue Aug 1 19:52:56 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux How reproducible: Ever time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Cold boot the system 2. run the command pm-suspend or click on g-p-m suspend. Actual results: Note that it resumes, but irq 9 is disabled, ACPI events no longer work. Expected results: ACPI events to continue to function. Additional info: Chris Blizzard is also getting this same problem. Will attach system logs tonight.
System logs?
I will attach the systems log files (with exact errors). Apologies if that came across wrong Christopher.
Created attachment 133895 [details] output of dmesg when pm-suspend command is issued.
I would attach it when irqpoll was enabled, but it seems my keyboard and mouse fail to work when irqpoll is a kernel parameter.
No, I was just pinging you about the system logs.

So much more broken, the current kernel can't resume from a suspend. Nothing comes back.. fun. 2.6.18-1.2726.fc6
The machine still does not resume with FC6 final, I wasn't expecting it to, just thought that maybe it should be known, so that someone else knows the status of this bug.
WOOT! The machine suspends and resumes with the FC7T1 kernel (the only difference), I'll assume this is fixed.
