Description Bayer Team 2021-10-29 14:27:01 UTC
Description of problem:

/etc/logrotate.d/slurm has an error in log file pattern.
This leads to "rerotation" of logfiles and logfiles named like this:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

20.11.8-1

How reproducible:

always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run logrotate with already existing /var/log/slurmd.log-<date>
2.
3.

Actual results:
/var/log/slurmd.log-<date> get rotated to /var/log/slurmd.log-<date>-<new date>

Expected results:

/var/log/slurmd.log-<date> is left alone.

Additional info:

Change pattern from /var/log/slurm/* to /var/log/slurm/*.log
