Latest upstream release: 0.7.0 Current version/release in rawhide: 0.6.2.3-4.fc35 URL: https://easyrpg.org/player Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/12145/
As it often happens, this release added some new dependencies. One of those is the "ttyp0" font [0], which uses its own, custom license. Reading through, it seems to me that it's basically MIT with one extra clause: > If the design of any glyphs in the fonts that are contained in the > Software or generated during the installation process is modified > or if additional glyphs are added to the fonts, the fonts > must be renamed. The new names may not contain the word "UW", > irrespective of capitalisation; the new names may contain the word > "ttyp0", irrespective of capitalisation, only if preceded by a > foundry name different from "UW". Since (so far) I got no response to the e-mail I posted on the legal mailing list [1], I'm marking this ticket as blocked by FE-Legal.
