Hello, This is the first reminder (step 3 from https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/#_package_removal_for_long_standing_ftbfs_and_fti_bugs). If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. Given how close to upstream EOL .NET 6 is, I am thinking of orphaning and removing this package from Fedora. I have started a discussion here: https://lists.fedorahosted.org/archives/list/dotnet-sig@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/U5MXHBQU2GQCH6NFWCUSF6GOUTJQI77W/
I meant .NET 5 in the previous comment. It's EOL is just around the expected Fedora 36 release date. .NET 6 just got released and isn't even in Fedora (yet).
Hello, This is the second reminder (step 4 from https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/#_package_removal_for_long_standing_ftbfs_and_fti_bugs). If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
.NET 5 will be EOL upstream right around when Fedora 36 is set to be released. I have retired the package in Fedora Rawhide.
