Description Miguel Garcia 2021-11-08 14:46:06 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2021198 +++

The novnc RPM requires /usr/bin/node which pulls in nodejs from RHEL.

nodejs is modularized and the default stream, which gets enabled if not otherwise specified, is version 10. The nodejs 10 rebuild has been unsupported since April 30, 2021[1].

We should not release unsupported code. We should instead enable either the 12 or 14 module streams in our base container[2] so that a supported version gets installed.

openstack-nova-novncproxy-container-16.2.0-63 has nodejs-10.24.0-1.module+el8.3.0+10166+b07ac28e.x86_64.
