Description Tomáš Hrnčiar 2021-11-22 14:28:14 UTC
Description of problem:
Package python-parse_type fails to build from source in Fedora Rawhide.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.4.2-12.fc35

Steps to Reproduce:
koji build --scratch f36 python-parse_type-0.4.2-12.fc35.src.rpm

Additional info:
This package is tracked by Koschei. See:
https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/package/python-parse_type

Since Setuptools 58+ upstream removed support for 2to3 during
builds. This is breaking change and thus package is FTBFS.
For more info see this change: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Setuptools_58%2B
