Description Xavier Bachelot 2021-12-03 16:46:28 UTC
Hi,

Could you please branch and build libmcrypt for EPEL 9 ?
I need it to build nsca.

Regards,
Xavier

Is it really serious to maintain this dead cow for EL ?

Any serious project really using it for crypto ?

Comment 3 Xavier Bachelot 2021-12-06 08:19:52 UTC
I'm not sure I would tag nsca as being a seriously maintained project, given the pace at which bugs are fixed and pull requests are honored (which is more or less true for the whole nagios ecosystem), but yes, nsca does need libmcrypt.
