The Engineering team wanted to release distributed tracing 2.0 before we had time to complete the work for the Jaeger rebranding in the docs. This was noted in the distributed tracing release notes, "Includes rolling updates to the documentation to support the name change and new features." Closing this issue as NOTABUG since this work is still ongoing and the particular bullet point that was referenced by this BZ is actually correct (Jaeger is still delivered as part of the distributed tracing solution).

If you want to track the status of the rebranding effort for the docs, you can follow https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OSSMDOC-409.
