Description of problem: This is just a request to backport: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1969719 Bug 1969719 - vsphere-problem-detector cannot connect to vCenter API over https to 4.7 version as possible. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.7
4.7 is now in maintenance mode. From https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/openshift/#ocp4_phases: > During the Maintenance Support phase, qualified Critical and Important Security Advisories (RHSAs) > and Urgent and Selected High Priority Bug Fix Advisories (RHBAs) may be released as they become > available. Other Bug Fix (and Enhancement (RHEA) Advisories may be released at Red Hat’s > discretion, but should not be expected. With the customer ticket having low severity, I am hesitant to backport the fix. Even the customer says: > What information can you provide around timeframes and the business impact? > no impact so far
Verified pass on 4.7.0-0.nightly-2021-12-23-185132
