I have done a test build in COPR using the current F35 packages: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/fuller/avogadro2/builds/
There are several dependencies which also must be built:
- avogadro2-libs
- libarchive
- openbabel
- inchi
- spglib
- molequeue
