Description Neal Gompa 2021-12-14 08:04:36 UTC
Please branch and build tcp_wrappers in epel9.

Comment 1 Jakub Jelen 2021-12-14 12:25:04 UTC
I have no interest in maintaining this package in epel9 anymore. If you would like to take it for epel9 or the package altogether, I would be happy to give the package to you.

Comment 2 Neal Gompa 2021-12-14 12:38:04 UTC
Hmm, after further checking, I don't think I need this...

Comment 3 Peter Bieringer 2021-12-14 18:33:44 UTC
I still like to use tcp_wrappers and still found no proper alternative for e.g. using "ipfilter.sh" hook to whitelist GeoIP based countries for several services (managing country IP lists with firewalld+ipset is imho a huge overkill here)

If you like you can add me as co-maintainer: pbiering

Comment 4 Jakub Jelen 2021-12-15 09:22:20 UTC
Thank you. I added you as an admin to the package and default assignee for the EPEL bugzillas.
