Description Anthony Green 2006-08-20 15:35:24 UTC
Description of problem:
oprofile tells us that azureus spends about 23% of the time interpreting log4j
code. This is unreasonable. Please turn log4j into a arch dependent, gcj-built
rpm.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run azureus and profile it
2.notice that 23% of the time is spent in the interpreter
3.use lsof to notice that log4j is the only place it could be spending all this time

Actual results:

Fixed in rawhide.

All java packages in rawhide (except oro, which is pending) are now natively
compiled.
