Please branch and build httpie in epel9. If you do not wish to maintain httpie in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package.
There are some missing dependencies. A build with tests: No matching package to install: 'python3dist(charset-normalizer) >= 2' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(defusedxml) >= 0.6' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(pytest-httpbin) >= 0.0.6' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(requests-toolbelt) >= 0.9.1' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(responses)' A build without tests: No matching package to install: 'python3dist(charset-normalizer) >= 2' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(defusedxml) >= 0.6' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(requests-toolbelt) >= 0.9.1' At least the 3 packages mentioned below are a must for this. Alessio, could you open EPEL 9 requests for them and mark them blocking this one? I am afraid I maintain at least one of them.
I requested epel9 branch some days ago but didn't had the chance to test what deps are missing. I'll take care of python-charset-normalizer dep and once the rest of the deps are ready I can take care of httpie for epel9, but happy to have Alessio as another co-maintainer. @miro epel9 will have pyproject-rpm-macros?
> @miro epel9 will have pyproject-rpm-macros? RHEL 9 has.
See https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/httpie/pull-request/20 and https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/httpie/pull-request/21
It seems there are no longer any blockers. Can this be added please? I'm happy to help - FAS jonathanspw
I submitted a new PR based on Miro's PR20 on top of current rawhide: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/httpie/pull-request/54 @Miro if you're OK with it I can merge and build it for EPEL9
