+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2039776 +++ Description of problem: When the user saves or shares a dashboard URL it contains the dashboard parameter. If the dashboard could not be found the page looks incomplete. The Dashboard dropdown doesn't show any info that the user can still select something. See screenshot. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.9 How reproducible: Always, when changing the URL manually to a dashboard that doesn't exist Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to Observe > Dashboard 2. Change the URL manually to a dashboard that does not exist Actual results: Empty page which looks like something failed Expected results: Show an empty state or error message. Would be also nice if the dashboard dropdown shows a hint that the user can switch the dropdown.
