How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf module enable nextcloud:nextcloud-stable
2. dnf install nextcloud-mysql

Actual results:
Error:
Problem: package nextcloud-mysql-21.0.3-1.module_el8+12393+3dc2911c.noarch requires nextcloud = 21.0.3-1.module_el8+12393+3dc2911c, but none of the providers can be installed

Expected results:
Should install, or there should be instructions *somewhere* on how to install if some other steps are necessary.

Additional info:
The question is, where to get those php-* RPMs that are needed by the nextcloud packages in the nextcloud module.

Some additional documentation at https://src.fedoraproject.org/modules/nextcloud/tree/master about this might be helpful for people that are trying to install but are not intimately inundated in the nextcloud/php RPM ecosystem.

It feels like there is some "tribal knowledge" here that need to be exposed/explained to those outside of the tribe.

I don't mean to be impatient, but hopefully a response on this would be just a quick interruption of your time.

Not knowing where these packages are supposed to come from is blocking my EL7/owncloud -> EL8/nextcloud upgrade which I'm hoping to complete ASAP.

Much thanks in advance.

It seems this maintainer is non-responsive.

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/FQAEZ5SZLU26LLG6DQEFJAKWOQG5PCBK/

My guess is the maintainer never intended to ship this module in epel8 because of the large number of missing dependencies. It was built and shipped there due to a modularity feature called "stream expansion". I'm not a co-maintainer, but as a proven packager I added the -epel8 string to the modulemd files prevent future builds of this module from expanding to include epel8. I've also opened a ticket with releng to get the existing modules removed from the epel8-modular repo.

This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
