Hi Guohua,

I tried to reproduce on 4.9.18 and couldn't reproduce the mentioned issue,
I've tried templates with and without a boot source.

steps taken:
1. create VM with wizard
2. select template with boot source (after tried without)
3. click on 'Customize Virtual Machine' and navigate to storage section
4. edit rootdisk, to have another SC and click save.
5. the UI correctly shows changed SC in storage section and in review section.

maybe I missed something?
can you please provide more info or access to a cluster that is reproducing this issue?
