This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle. Changing version to 36.
Still broken in F36. Christian, in case fixing 2.8.1 is non-trivial, could you try upgrading to 2.9.0-beta? Since there's also a flatpak, another possibility could be obsoleting this package before F36 is released.
