gettext failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f36 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81771851 For details on the mass rebuild see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild Please fix gettext at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks, gettext will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 37, gettext will be retired, if it still fails to build. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle. Changing version to 36.
a fix is underway https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/gettext/pull-request/11
This has been fixed, kindly verify.
I meant - the fixed is available in rawhide, yet to land in f36 though.
Does the plan to fix gettext in F36 include the JDK 17 fix that landed in Rawhide? That's affecting the jmol package in F36.
Maybe we should backport the rawhide package then? We don't know when upstream will push a new stable release...
