Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Stephen Wadeley 2022-01-26 15:48:23 UTC
Description of problem:

I cannot view list of custom yum CV packages,
this interferes with making package filters.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
7.0.0-6.0

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Sync rhel-7-server, make CV of it.

1. Create a custom yum repo with some fake errata

2. navigate Content > Content Views > MyYumCV > Versions

click on the number of packages (package count)

I see name Custom Repo

3. in Content col, click on " 23 Rpm packages"

Actual results:

In developer console:

DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://dhcp-3-197.vms.sat.rdu2.redhat.com/webpack/katello/katello:common-2e757cef2eb02c4a1ed2.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

finally, 32785 packages are listed, not just the 23 in my custom repo

Expected results:
just the 23 in my custom repo

Additional info:
I will attach production logs.

Created redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34408 from this bug

Comment 3 Brad Buckingham 2022-02-10 10:57:09 UTC
Moving to POST as the upstream PR is merged.

Comment 5 Griffin Sullivan 2022-02-21 18:47:54 UTC
Verified on RHEL 8.5 and RHEL 7.9 Satellite 7 snap 10

Content View with a custom yum repository correctly lists packages under CV version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sync rhel-7-server, make CV of it.

2. Create a custom yum repo with some fake errata

3. Add custom repo to CV and publish new version

4. Navigate Content > Content Views > MyYumCV > Versions > Repositories

5. Click on the number of packages under Content for your custom yum repo

Expected Results:
Lists only packages added from custom yum repo.

Actual Results:
Lists only packages added from custom yum repo.
