Description Kevin Kofler 2022-01-27 00:59:42 UTC
Description of problem:
KF5GrantleeThemeConfig.cmake needs Grantlee5, but there is no dependency in the kf5-grantleetheme-devel package. Please add:
Requires: grantlee-qt5-devel
or:
Requires: cmake(Grantlee5)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Probably several, at least the following:
kf5-kcontacts-21.12.1-2.fc36

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to build Trojitá with the Akonadi addressbook plugin. (Try
dist-git revision 8829bc424371886c5ab56a29e5ad5f827cbbf1c8, I will add a workaround (explicit BR grantlee-qt5-devel) next.)

Actual results:
No Akonadi addressbook plugin because of:
CMake Warning at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/CMakeFindDependencyMacro.cmake:47 (find_package):
  Found package configuration file:
    /usr/lib64/cmake/KF5GrantleeTheme/KF5GrantleeThemeConfig.cmake
but it set KF5GrantleeTheme_FOUND to FALSE so package "KF5GrantleeTheme" is
considered to be NOT FOUND. Reason given by package:
KF5GrantleeTheme could not be found because dependency Grantlee5 could not
  be found.

Expected results:
The Akonadi libraries are detected.

Additional info:
The dependency chain should be kf5-akonadi-contacts-devel → kf5-grantleetheme-devel → grantlee-qt5-devel. The second link is where it breaks down.

Comment 1 Ben Cotton 2022-02-08 20:42:05 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.

Comment 2 Ben Cotton 2023-04-25 16:50:32 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 36 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 36 on 2023-05-16.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '36'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version'
to a later Fedora Linux version. Note that the version field may be hidden.
Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see it.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora Linux 36 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora Linux, you are encouraged to change the 'version' to a later version
prior to this bug being closed.
